Peter W. Clerides’s practice focuses on wills, trusts and estate planning, where he assists his clients in preparing an estate plan that best suits the client’s needs.

In addition, Mr. Clerides also handles trademark applications and licensing applications to the California Alcohol & Beverage Commission.

A graduate of UCLA with an English major and a Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut, Mr. Clerides has been practicing law for almost 23 years, the last 16 in San Francisco.

Over the course of his legal career, Mr. Clerides has represented corporate and individual clients in both litigation and transactional matters. Mr. Clerides has litigated insurance claims on behalf of policy-holders, frequently obtaining settlements without litigation; defended private security firms; litigated lender liability matters on behalf of both borrowers and financial institutions; successfully defended clients in elder abuse litigation and will contests and represented clients in the defense of trademark infringement.

Prior to joining Versant Law Group, Mr. Clerides has been in private solo practice since 1998. Some of Mr. Clerides’s past clients include Fluid, CMS, Kodak, Affymetrix & Western Financial Savings Bank.

Mr. Clerides is a member of the State Bar of California.
